Why disruption will be a mega trend for investors in 2022

Frankfurt What do megatrends such as sustainability, digitization or technological innovations such as cryptoassets have in common? They have “enormous disruptive potential that also offers attractive investment opportunities”. Heinz-Werner Rapp, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of the Feri Group, is convinced of this. Rapp also heads the Feri Cognitive Finance Institute think tank.

According to the strategist, the 2020s will be characterized by extremely dynamic development. Disruptive technologies would replace existing ones at an increasingly faster pace. This would create completely new markets.

The first funds are explicitly betting on such upheavals. Two examples are BNP Paribas Disruptive Technology (LU0823421689) and DNB Fund Disruptive Opportunities (LU2061961145). Frank Thelen is currently attracting the greatest attention. The venture investor known from the program “Die Höhle der Löwen” has started 10xDNA Disruptive Technologies (DE000DNA10X3) together with others.
