The company, which released a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, offered the opportunity to upgrade the application version to 2.23.11.19 for testers. The new version, which comes with some design changes, has the screen sharing feature used in online meetings.

Popular messaging platform WhatsApp brings the username feature to ensure privacy and security.

Although your screen content is constantly transmitted during a video call, you can stop the process at any time. Also, this feature is only enabled if you allow the content of your screen to be shared.

It is not yet known when the screen sharing feature will come to web, desktop and iOS versions. It is estimated that the company will present its new feature to Android users in June.

Some users who installed the WhatsApp beta update for Android 2.23.11.19 announced that they noticed a few minor changes regarding the new bottom navigation bar. The tabs in the bottom navigation bar will now be listed as Chats, Calls, Communities and Status respectively.
