WhatsApp introduces multiple message pinning features
Last December, WhatsApp introduced the feature of pinning messages in one-on-one conversations and group chats, but only one message could be pinned in a chat. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and WhatsApp head Will Cathcart announced that users will now be able to pin up to three messages in individual and group chats.
Users can pin different types of messages, including text, images, and polls. To pin a message, you need to long press on it, select the “Pin” option from the menu and choose the duration.

By default, the message will be pinned for seven days, but there are also options to pin for 24 hours or 30 days. After this period, if the message is not pinned by the user, it will be automatically removed.
When you click on the pinned message, you can see the entire message in the conversation. However, in group chats, group admins can allow members to pin messages, and when a message is pinned, all members of that group will be notified about it.
Once a message is pinned, users who join the group unfortunately cannot see the message. It should be noted that those who do not have a group chat history or who deleted the message before it was pinned will not be able to see the message.
