Microsoft continues to work on the first major update it plans to release for Windows 11 in the future. According to the information revealed, the code name of this new version will be Sun Valley 2. So what improvements and changes will this update bring? Here are the details…

Microsoft has made innovations for the Windows 11 update calendar. Now, Web Experience Packs will appear for Windows 11 updates.
Sun Valley 2 will improve the Windows 11 user experience
Sun Valley 2, which will be the first major update of the year, will be released as Windows 11 version 22H2. With this release, Microsoft does not want to reshape the operating system. So we shouldn’t expect big changes.
But we know that Microsoft will offer a number of improvements to users. For example, it will let you pin more apps or activities in the suggestions section of the Start Menu. We can see a small but effective touch like this in many places, from Task Manager to Settings.
What will the new update bring?
- Task Manager
- Task Manager will get a new design based on Fluent UI and WinUI. But it will keep the existing information screens such as Processes, Performance, Startup applications, Users, Details and services.
- Natural Narrator voices
- Microsoft will offer more natural sounds for Narrator. This will affect users’ ability to browse the web and read and write mail. Also, it won’t need an internet connection once downloaded.
- New pop-up design
- Microsoft is working on popup design for hardware indicators. Media controls that appear on the Lock screen when playing music in a supported app will also get a new look.
- New capture experience
- Microsoft will update the experience of resizing windows in additional layouts by placing the corresponding application icon over the acrylic background.
