Dusseldorf A glance at the news from their electricity provider has often surprised customers badly recently. Many energy suppliers are increasing their prices and demanding correspondingly higher down payments. Some low-cost electricity suppliers have even stopped supplying them altogether. Although no one had to sit in the dark, some basic suppliers billed new customers three times as much as their existing customers.
Because of these escapades, many people are currently considering switching their electricity provider. But that is sometimes complicated, the offers are confusing.
How do you find an electricity provider that is cheap but also reliable? What do I do if my supplier no longer supplies me? And why are electricity prices so high right now?
