Airline tickets are more expensive than ever before.

Frankfurt Around 900 euros for the route from Zurich to Frankfurt and back in economy, up to 800 euros for the same travel class between Hamburg and Frankfurt: Anyone who wants to travel at short notice will be amazed at the prices that Lufthansa, for example, charges. Flying is more expensive than ever before.

The criticism of the airlines is therefore getting louder. Italian Industry Minister Adolfo Urso recently summoned representatives from airlines such as ITA and Ryanair, demanding an explanation for prices that “are not even justified by inflation”. An “inflation monitor” should now take a closer look at ticket prices.
