Dusseldorf How much work is done by employees or how well they integrate into a team is elementary for a good rating – and thus for the course of a career. When employees are depressed, however, they often find it much more challenging to complete their tasks or behave like healthy employees.
However, with the right approach, those affected can ensure that depression does not endanger the job. In some cases, it can help to talk to your supervisor about your mental illness. Psychologist and bestselling author Stefanie Stahl and employment lawyer Mariam El-Ahmad know what those affected can and cannot say to their boss.
