Dusseldorf The number of securities accounts has been growing sharply since the outbreak of the corona crisis: in January 2020, around 23.7 million German securities accounts; by September 2021 the number had risen to 27.9 million. With the glut of money in the wake of the zero interest rate policy, stocks rose sharply. It is not just rising prices that are generating increasing interest.
Digitalization has made trading securities easier than ever. A development from which online brokers benefit. After all, openness towards digital sales channels is generally increasing.
