Frankfurt, Munich The market leader is once again showing the way. Allianz, which has a market share of almost 30 percent in life insurance in Germany, will keep the current interest rate in the coming year. It is 2.3 percent for classic contracts with fixed guarantees, and 2.4 percent for the best-selling product “Perspective”. Since there is no longer a guaranteed minimum interest rate that causes high costs, the current interest rate for this product is slightly higher.
