What are the features that come with macOS Ventura?

macOS Ventura (or macOS 13) has been released with a few new features. The next version of the operating system improves the continuity features between iPhone and Mac so that an iPhone can now be used as a computer webcam. Another new continuity feature will let you transfer a FaceTime call from iPhone to Mac and vice versa. Here are the macOS Ventura features.

• Advanced Search: Search feature now gives more accurate and complete results,
  offers suggestions before you start writing.
• Advanced image search: Find images in Photos, Messages, Notes and Finder directly from Spotlight.
• New search design: With richer search results, you can access all the information you need on topics such as people, albums, musicians, movies, TV shows, actors, sports and business in one place. By pressing the spacebar, you can see large, scrollable previews of your files with the Browse feature.
• Spotlight quick actions: You can now use Spotlight to set an alarm, start Focus, find the name of a song with Shazam, run a shortcut, and more.
• Shared Tab Groups: Share tabs and bookmarks, send messages, and start a FaceTime call directly from Safari. Whether you are planning a trip with your loved ones or shopping for seats, it is possible to share all your tabs in one place. And the people you share tabs with can add the tabs they want you to see.
• You have a new message: You can now edit a message you just sent or completely undo a message you sent recently. In addition, you can mark as unread messages that you cannot reply immediately and want to return to later.
• SharePlay feature in Messages app: Watch a video or listen to a new song with your friends in real time in the Messages app, chatting about the content you’ve shared while you’re at it. Always enjoy a simultaneous experience with shared playback controls.
• A stronger collaborative experience: Get started instantly by sharing notes, presentations, reminders, Safari Tab Groups, and more in the Messages app. See updates on shared projects from within the conversation and communicate with your collaborators without leaving the app you’re using.

• iCloud Shared Photo Library: You can easily share photos and videos with up to five other people. So everyone can contribute to the family collection and your memories become more vivid. iCloud Shared Photo Library puts your family and memories in one place. Anyone who takes or edits the photos can enjoy these memories whenever they want.
• Smart ways to share: You can choose which content you want to share based on the start date or the people in the photo. Once iCloud Shared Photo Library is set up, you can manually share photos. If you wish, you can get smart suggestions from the new “For Your Shared Archive” item in the sidebar to add photos to the shared archive.
• Editing and changes sync everywhere: Everyone has the same permissions to add, edit and delete photos in the shared archive. Moreover, favourites, titles, keywords are also synchronized and anyone can see the edits made by any person on the collection.
• Introducing Stage Manager: Scene Manager automatically organizes your apps and windows into one view on all Macs. So you can keep your focus while easily switching between tasks.
• Switch between apps: Easily switch between apps and windows with a click. Click anywhere on the desktop to immediately return to a file or folder.
• Create your ideal workspace: Create different application groups for specific tasks or projects. Then edit these groups as you wish, resize them and get an ideal layout.
• Handoff feature is now on FaceTime: Transfer FaceTime calls from one device to another with one click, so you can always join the calls from the right device.
• Use your iPhone as a webcam: By using your iPhone’s powerful camera system with your Mac, you can do things that weren’t possible with webcams before. Simply bring your iPhone closer to your Mac to automatically turn it into a webcam. Moreover, this feature works completely wirelessly.
• Main Stage: The Main Scene feature is now available on all Mac models with Continuity Camera. In this way, even if you switch places during video calls or meetings, you remain in the center of the image in the frame.
