Whales Are Officially Abandoning These Crypto Assets: $600 Million Transfer!

Those with deep pockets as Bitcoin (BTC) falls below $27,000 crypto- investors are shedding hundreds of millions of dollars worth of digital assets.

New data from whale research platform Whale Alert shows high-net-worth investors are worth $660 million Bitcoinshows Ethereum (ETH) and Chainlink (LINK) suddenly selling off.

Nine of the 14 transactions moved digital assets to Binance, Coinbase, Gate.io and OKX exchanges.

BTC transactions worth a total of $426.9 million on Whale Alert’s radar include:

  • 753 BTC worth $20,027,198 transferred from unknown wallet to Coinbase transferred.
  • 4,000 BTC worth $108,809,426 were transferred from Bitfinex to an unknown wallet.
  • 1,062 BTC worth $28,965,043 was transferred to Binance from an unknown wallet.
  • 2,927 BTC worth $79,646,728 were transferred to Coinbase from an unknown wallet.
  • 3,999 BTC worth $109,277,857 were transferred from an unknown wallet to a new unknown wallet.
  • 2,925 BTC worth $80,258,506 was transferred to Coinbase from an unknown wallet.

Bitcoin is trading at $26,559, down 1.6% in the last 24 hours.

Smart contract platform EthereumGoing by Whale Alert found approximately $191.1 million worth of ETH transactions between:

  • 22,343 ETH worth $35,370,958 was transferred to Coinbase from an unknown wallet.
  • 16,500 ETH worth $26,778,575 was transferred to OKX from an unknown wallet.
  • 22,343 ETH worth $36,223,542 was transferred to Coinbase from an unknown wallet.
  • 15,000 ETH worth $24,538,567 was transferred to Gate.io from an unknown wallet.
  • 22,343 ETH worth $36,533,189 was transferred to Coinbase from an unknown wallet.
  • 19,386 ETH worth $31,736,291 were transferred from Binance to an unknown wallet.

At the time of writing, Ethereum is trading at $1,588, down 2.1% in the last day.

Finally, Whale Alert noticed two major transactions from decentralized oracle network Chainlink:

  • 2,000,000 LINK worth $13,709,696 were transferred from Binance to an unknown wallet.
  • 28,853,066 LINK worth $4,226,964 were transferred from Bitvavo to an unknown wallet.

Chainlink is trading at $6.69, down 3.4% in the last 24 hours.
