Whales Abandoning Shiba Inu Head For This Altcoin!

Ethereum (ETH) whale wallets have undergone a remarkable change in the last 24 hours. The largest of the ETH whales has widely abandoned the popular altcoin Shiba Inu (SHIB). In contrast, whales have increased their holdings by adding some new cryptocurrencies to their portfolios.

Shiba Inu loses interest from Ethereum whales

According to data provided by WhaleStats, Lido Staked ETH (stETH) has become the largest dollar-held token among the top 100 Ethereum whales, surpassing Shiba Inu.

Ethereum whales currently hold more than $322.3 million in stETH. This accounts for about 10% of the whales’ total assets. On the other hand, Shiba Inu, which is in the top ten in the list of assets owned by the first 100 ETH whales, fell sharply to $148 million with the announcement of the launch of the new CCG game. The Shiba Inu account for about 4.5% of total whale investments.

Besides, the stETH accumulation of Ethereum whales can be associated with the price increase. Lido Staked ETH price is up over 10% in the last 24 hours. stETH is trading at an average of $1,865 at press time. 24-hour trading volume increased 80% to $5.19 million.

Lido DAO prices up 7%

WhaleStats also reported that the Lido DAO (LDO) has made it into the top 10 tokens purchased among the 100 largest Ethereum whales in the last 24 hours.

The LDO price has increased by about 7% in the last 24 hours. The Lido DAO is trading at an average price level of $2.75 at press time. 24-hour trading volume increased 30% to $195.8 million.

However, the price of the Shiba Inu has also increased by over 3% in the last 24 hours. At press time, SHIB is trading at an average of $0.000013. 24-hour trading volume increased by 27% to $486 million.
