Tesla had finally entered our country in the past months. Tesla Turkey, which established its office with this entry, started to take its steps quickly and made some recruitments. A while ago, Tesla, which offered Turkish language support to vehicles, made a new move regarding Superchargers, updated its Supercharger network and increased its number.

shiftdelete.netTesla first included our country on the European Supercharger expansion map in 2014. In this expansion plan, the first Supercharger fast charging station would be opened in Istanbul in 2015. Although Tesla Turkey was officially established in 2015, unfortunately the company had to postpone its plans.
After many years, in November 2021, the company announced its official entry to our country and made many recruitments. Now, the fast charging station move has come from the company. Superchargers, which were removed from the list in 2016, were added to the company’s site again and their number increased.
Until today, Tesla was considering opening 10 fast charging stations in our country. According to the newly published list, this number has been increased to 12. When we look at the locations of the stations, we can say that they are mostly located on the Istanbul – Izmir highway. In addition to these, there will be some stations between the Istanbul – Ankara road.
The first of these stations is expected to enter service in 2022. Although it is not known which station will be activated first, it is likely that the Tesla Supercharger in Istanbul will start to serve first.
