Dusseldorf It is a setback for Christian Olearius: The Higher Regional Court (OLG) Cologne has rejected the complaint of the long-standing boss and main shareholder of the traditional Hamburg bank MM Warburg against the charges of the Cologne public prosecutor. The day on which Olearius has to answer before the Bonn Regional Court for particularly serious tax evasion is getting closer.
A court spokesman confirmed the decision to the Handelsblatt. The right to be heard was not fully respected. However, Olearius and his lawyers were able to view the files several times during the investigation, which has been going on for years.
