Prominent investor and stockbroker Jordan Belfort‘of, XRP Turns out he was a supporter.

In a recent tweet, Belfort claimed that he has a six-figure stake in the controversial cryptocurrency, which the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission claims is an unregistered security.

“I own a large XRP (six digit)! My man on TV is of the opinion that XRP is the best ever seen. He thinks it will go up to $10,000. I hope he’s right, but I’ll settle for $10.”

The American entrepreneur predicts that the XRP price could reach $10. In such a case, the market capitalization would be close to $500 billion.

Members of the XRP community also did not shy away from questionable support by inviting Belfort into their community.

As it is known, Belfort is known for the movie The Wolf of Wall Street, starring Leo DiCaprio, and is among the most famous swindlers of his time. Belfort quickly made millions of dollars by manipulating investors with worthless stocks in his film, and was caught and convicted in 1999. The famous investor stated that Bitcoin would disappear after the big correction it experienced in 2018, but then he changed his mind about Bitcoin and made an estimate of 100 thousand dollars for BTC.

Finally, it’s worth noting that XRP is one of the few cryptocurrencies that failed to hit its all-time high during the last bull cycle. Its price is still 68% below the $3.40 peak recorded on January 7, 2018.
