The first speaker of the delivery ceremony was Marubeni Dağıtım ve Servis A.Ş. General Manager Eşref Zeka expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation established with DSV Logistics and said, “Today’s delivery is a first in the industry and part of the growth, but beyond that, it is a very valuable step towards our sustainability goals. I hope that our delivery will remind the entire logistics industry that electromobility is indispensable for the future in terms of awareness.” he talked about his future goals.

Volvo Trucks launched its electric truck family in Turkey, which will mark the future of road transportation.

At the end of his speech, Eşref Zeka said that this is a long journey and that the entire ecosystem and, in short, all stakeholders must act together with a common understanding. Emphasizing that this common understanding has been implemented with Marubeni, Volvo Trucks and DSV Logistics, Zeka said, Marubeni Dağıtım ve Servis A.Ş. Volvo Trucks International Senior Vice President Per-Erik Lindström stated at the ceremony that the company’s goal is for 50 percent of all trucks sold globally to be electric by 2030. However, he said that its electric trucks have multiple axle configurations, variable battery configurations and total energy storage capacity for different applications and segments, and can currently travel approximately 300 km on a single charge. He also added that the range will increase further in the future.
