Sales increased by 138% compared to the previous year

Accordingly, the Volkswagen group sold 122,100 electric vehicles worldwide between July and September of this year. The German automobile giant, which doubled its sales figures compared to the same period of 2020, continues its investments in electric cars without slowing down.

Commenting on the doubled sales figures, head of sales Christian Dahlheim said, “Our global electric offensive continues at full speed. We are number 1 in fully electric vehicles in Europe. We are number two in the USA. Demand for our one million electric vehicle goal remains strong.” said.

According to sales data, the German group continues to increase its sales in China. As a result of these data, the brand sold 18,300 electric vehicles in the first half of this year. The vehicles of the VW group, which make up 24 percent of the electric vehicles in China, continue to be among the preferred models all over the world.

VW group, which has sold 293,100 electric vehicles in total as of this year, experienced a 138 percent increase in electric vehicle sales compared to last year.
