Apple is making an intense effort to be the name that sets the bar in the smartphone world. The company, which has made a name for itself with the iPhone 14 series, has its eyes set on the flagship models that it will launch this year. There are many differences regarding the expected series.
Apple’s MFi-certified USB-C chargers will offer fast charging support
Apple, which has been identified with the Lightning connection for many years, will switch to the USB-C port with the iPhone 15 series. However, the company has again determined its program for the use of its own products. Earlier news was that the iPhone 15 series would only support standard USB-C accessories approved by the Made for iPhone (MFi) program.
Ming-Chi Kuo, who made a name for himself with Apple news, stated that the company will optimize the fast charging performance of MFi-certified USB-C chargers for the iPhone 15. To summarize, if USB-C cables from other companies that do not support Made for iPhone (MFi) are used, the data transfer rate will decrease considerably. According to some sources, it will not allow its use by warning “This accessory is not supported”.
Technological waste is one of the most important factors in the European Union’s decision to impose sanctions. Today, technological tools are subject to change quite frequently. As such, unusable chargers and headphones are, in a way, garbage. It is a matter of debate how much Apple’s last step complies with the EU’s wishes.
On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro models will take the stage with 8 GB of RAM. The standard iPhone 15 models, on the other hand, will remain with 6 GB of RAM. However, it will be upgraded to the LPDDR5 RAM used in its predecessor’s Pro models. Pro models will take the stage with the A17 Bionic.
