US Citizens Prefer Cryptocurrencies for Their Investments!

In the face of the increasing adoption of cryptocurrencies on a global basis, people have started to change their investment preferences to cryptocurrencies.

In this context, according to the results of a recent survey conducted by Morning Consult in the USA, US citizens prefer to invest in cryptocurrencies compared to traditional investment instruments.

24% of US adults surveyed from December 23-25, 2021 said they own cryptocurrencies.

On the other hand, 23% of the respondents stated that they have “certificates of deposit, which are savings accounts that hold fixed amounts of money for a certain period of time”.

Youth Adoption of Cryptocurrency Continues!

According to the results of the survey, the declines in the crypto markets did not reduce the desire of people to buy Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

In this context, nearly one-third of millennials continued their positive approach to cryptocurrencies, saying they want to buy Bitcoin.

The difference in investing in cryptocurrencies between men and women has emerged once again. According to the survey, men and respondents with annual income exceeding $100,000 are more likely than the average American to purchase cryptocurrencies.

The Americans who participated in the survey said that both types of investments have their own risks.

According to respondents, bank savings accounts are insured and have fixed value. Crypto investments, on the other hand, are volatile and more likely to yield compared to bank savings accounts.

Participants also stated that the main motivation behind cryptocurrency investments is to make money.
