When Threads users entered the application today, they encountered an explanation they never expected. Instagram’s X rival platform, Threads, is being closed to users in Turkey as a result of the Competition Authority’s decision. The last day is April 29.

Due to the decision of the Competition Authority, Threads will not be available to people in Turkey as of April 29, 2024. Your Threads profile will be disabled, but you can download your information and delete your profile at any time. We value the Threads community in Turkey and hope to return soon.
