Several different attacks were carried out this week on the Snake Island, which the Russians used to seize the Akkerman region. In fact, videos were shared of patrol boats approaching the port, cargo ships and military buildings hit by TB2s.
But today, an event took place that we may never see again. The Ukrainian Air Force shot down the Russian Mi-8 helicopter with the Bayraktar TB2. The Ukrainian side, which has been watching the island for a long time through the TB2’s camera from a distance of about 100 kilometers, sent a SİHA to the region when it noticed the approaching helicopter.
Then he waited for the moment when the Russian Mi-8 helicopter would land. After leaving the soldiers inside the island, he was able to shoot the Russian helicopter, which planned to take off immediately and therefore continued to move lightly, using Bayraktar TB2 SİHA.
