UK Announces Approval for Sinovac Vaccine

The UK has announced that the Sinovac vaccine will be added to the list of approved vaccines. The list, which will include Sinopharm and Covaxin vaccines together with Sinovac, will be valid from 22 November at 04:00.

Today, acting contrary to Europe, the UK has announced that it will add Sinovac to its list of approved vaccines.

In the statement made by the British Ministry of Health, the new list to which the Sinovac vaccine will be added has been announced. From 04:00 on 22 November declared to be valid. The UK’s acceptance of the Sinovac vaccine means that those who have received the Sinovac vaccine in countries such as Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and India can now travel to the UK. The new list will also include Sinopharm and Covaxin vaccines.

Post-trip quarantine is not mandatory for vaccinated:

People who are fully vaccinated and certified with one of the approved vaccines according to UK travel rules do not have to take a pre-trip COVID-19 test or go into quarantine upon arrival. These people only 2 days after arrival in UK rapid antigen test. The UK has also previously approved Pfizer-BioNTech, Oxford-AstraZeneca, Moderna and Janssen vaccines.
