It remains nostalgic in front of the screens. After “Wetten, dass ..?” Another cult format is now returning to German television. ProSieben confirms the new edition of “TV total”. But: unlike the ZDF show, this return is not a one-off.
And: While Thomas Gottschalk insisted on hosting “his” show himself, Stefan Raab will no longer be sitting at what is probably the most famous desk in (German) TV history.

Sebastian Pufpaff will be the new host (“Pufpaffs Happy Hour”). On Monday, the broadcaster published a photo that shows him at the Raab desk.
The show is broadcast weekly. Not late at night as usual, but at prime time at 8.15 p.m. What is left: the buzzer strip on the desk.
This means that Pufpaff will also have funny videos at the push of a button like Stefan Raab. Incidentally, he is not only his predecessor, but will also be the producer of the show.
By the way, a big secret was made about the revival of the show. Even “TV Total” -internal, the show was therefore only called “Project without a name” in the last few months, as BILD learned. Work has been going on since last year.
