Turkey’s Only Bitcoin ATM Opened in Istanbul!

While cryptocurrencies continue to spread at full speed all over the world, Turkey has been holding steady for a long time. While the world was developing at a rapid pace, especially in terms of Bitcoin ATM, Turkey’s first ATM was opened at Atatürk Airport last year and was closed in the same year.

The fact that there are hundreds of crypto money ATMs in many countries in our country stands out as a real shortcoming, despite being such a vibrant country in terms of the crypto money sector. The only Bitcoin ATM of Turkey – currently – put into service by a Turkish crypto exchange, has been put into service for users in Istanbul.

The Bitcoin ATM in question, city’s Nisantasi Shopping Centeris located in. In the statement made by the exchange, it was stated that the minimum transaction limit is 100 TL and the maximum transaction limit is 500 TL. Since the ATM is located in a shopping center, the hours of use are limited to the opening and closing of the shopping center.

Although the upper limit to be owned is very small, buying and selling Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies via ATMs in Turkey can be considered a big and important step.
