TSE and TÜBİTAK Informatics and Information Security Advanced Technologies Research Center (BİLGEM) signed a cooperation protocol for Cyber ​​Security Test, Audit and Certification Activities. In the presence of Minister Varank, the signatures of the protocol were signed by TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal and TSE President Mahmut Sami Şahin scored.

Within the scope of the protocol, both institutions will develop joint cooperation models and create projects in internationally valid cyber security tests and certification of all kinds of commercial devices and industrial systems connected to the Internet, such as the European Union (EU). They will provide the testing and certification services required to open up to the foreign market in the field of cyber security at more affordable prices. Cyber ​​security testing, inspection and certification and service requests will be received from abroad, thus ensuring foreign currency inflow to Turkey. Contribution will be made to overcome the technical obstacles in front of the product export of domestic and national producers.

Critical information will remain in the country

In addition, critical information in the field of cyber security will be prevented from leaving the borders of the country, and foreign currency outflow will be prevented within the scope of internet of things tests and certification. This will contribute to the formation of high volumes of business in these areas, thus supporting Turkey’s economic development. Necessary analysis and test studies will be carried out by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, certification will be carried out by TSE.
