Neuburg am Inn – Horror accident in Neuburg am Inn, in which luckily nobody was injured. A truck was hit by a passenger train there.
The car wanted to leave the place in the Passau district on Friday morning via an open level crossing, the police said. The trailer of the truck was caught by a train from Passau and completely destroyed.
The locomotive then derailed, but no one was injured, the police said – neither the truck driver nor any of the eight people on the train.
According to the police, there is a flashing light at the level crossing, a spokesman was initially unable to confirm whether the truck driver had overlooked it.
