Berlin In view of the rapidly increasing number of new corona infections, the SPD, FDP and Green want to punish vaccination passport forgers more severely and introduce a 3G rule in the workplace. This emerges from statements by politicians who are familiar with the negotiations as well as the draft of the traffic light groups for the amendment of the Infection Protection Act, which is available to the Handelsblatt (here for >> Download). The reintroduction of the free citizen tests is also being debated.
The fact that only vaccinated, convalescent or freshly tested people are allowed to go to the office or factory is an “appropriate procedure” in view of the situation, said the First Parliamentary Managing Director of the FDP parliamentary group, Marco Buschmann. The Bundestag is to discuss the ideas of the SPD, Greens and SPD to amend the Infection Protection Act for the first time on Thursday. Meanwhile, CSU leader Markus Söder criticized the fact that the parties want to end the “epidemic situation”.
