Dusseldorf “Why are you convinced that you are the best candidate for this position?” Applicants for high-ranking management positions must expect this question when they sit across from Ariane Reinhart, Head of Human Resources at the Dax group Continental.

The doctor of law not only wants to see that the candidate has dealt intensively with the requirements of the vacant position. Above all, Reinhart wants to find out from her question “how he or she thinks about leadership and how this is expressed in concrete actions”. More precisely, that means: How respectful would someone treat the Continental workforce?

The desire to bring empathetic team players to the management level also dominates the list of questions for job interviews in many other companies.
