Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft series is coming!

Netflix announced last month that it was working on a Tomb Raider series. The platform, which also released the first trailer of the series, gave more details within the scope of Netflix Geeked Week events. Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft Behind the scenes of the series have been published.

Legendary Entertainment and Powerhouse Animation shared new information about the Lara Croft series, which is expected to be released in the coming weeks. The behind-the-scenes video released for Netflix’s animated series featured the creative team discussing the adventures of Lara Croft.

Based on the last Tomb Raider games, the animated series will tell the story after the events of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. While Camilla Luddington will voice Lara in the games, Haley Atwell, known for her roles in the Netflix series Agent Carter and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will voice Lara.

Powerhouse Animation, known as the developer of the Castlevania series, stated that Lara’s story will be an exciting journey. In addition to Haley Atwell, Earl Baylon will play the role of Jonah, Lara’s friend and colleague.

Concept art shown in the video indicates that Lara will snowboard, run between buildings, and explore tombs around the world. Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, which will cover the roots of the series that has been going on for more than 20 years, will also include some surprises.

On the other hand, the Tomb Raider series recently joined the list of games with price increases. Thus, the price of Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, which was released in 2018, increased from 173 TL to 389 TL after a 125 percent increase.
