Berlin The Germans are interested in lateral entry. 62 percent of all university graduates can imagine changing to another industry, among non-university graduates the figure is 60 percent.
Five sectors in particular appeal to those willing to change: Most are drawn to IT, followed by the energy sector, public service and NGOs, research and finally consulting. These results come from the current “HR Monitor” by the market researcher Trendence, which is available exclusively to the Handelsblatt and for which almost 5,000 professionals were surveyed in September 2022.
