ByteDance, the parent company of the platform, filed a trademark application under the name TikTok Music in July last year. Exactly one year later, it began testing in Brazil and Indonesia in the first days of July. The company also rolled out the Beta program in Australia, Mexico, and Singapore not long after.
Let’s say that the platform will be an application with a paid tier. After the beta period ends, it will be $8.16 a month in Australia, the Mex $6.86 in Mexico and $7.48 in Singapore. It is not yet known whether the application will come to Turkey, but it is expected to be available in all regions where TikTok is active.
