Leading metaverse coin project Sandbox announced today that Alpha Season 3 will release on August 24, 2022. The new Season will be the biggest Alpha Season to date. It will also include 98 experiences, delivering new content to players every day for 10 weeks. Sandbox’s Alpha Season 3 (AS3) expands on the successful Alpha Season 2, which attracted over 325,000 players.
During AS3 it is possible for players to create an avatar or choose one of the 140,000 avatar NFTs. This way they can reinvent themselves and immerse themselves in a Web3 ecosystem where music, art, architecture, gaming, fashion and entertainment come together. It is possible for players to level up during the season. There will also be opportunities to earn up to 500 SAND, climb the Leaderboard, and join Raffles to earn Alpha Season 3 Passes. Players in AS3 collect Ethos points, which are equivalent to experience points earned by completing missions. Ethos Points can be used as raffle tickets for a chance to win an Alpha Season 3 Pass.

Sandbox Alpha Season 3 will be Web3’s biggest interoperability use case yet. The Bored Ape Yacht Club will allow more than 140,000 NFT holders to seamlessly acquire their digital assets from collections such as Doggies, World of Women, CoolCats, Clone X and Aoki. You can get them from Web3 communities and use them as avatars directly in the Sandbox. This marks the beginning of a new era of true ownership and consistency in online identity across platforms.
