This Metaverse Coin Has Formed a Meaningful Partnership with WoW!

  • Two of the leading Ethereum NFT projects in the market are joining forces.

A popular NFT community World of Women (WoW), The Sandbox (SAND) will step into the game world by making a unique cooperation with Crypto metaverse game The Sandbox, in a statement today, said that the game project; NFT has announced a partnership with profile picture project World of Women, in which it will provide $25 million in grant funding to establish the WoW Foundation.

The WoW Foundation is a World of Women initiative that aims to increase the number of women in the NFT space and the evolving metaverse through education and mentoring. Sandbox will fund the project over a five-year period to support the foundation in achieving its goals, many of which are linked to The Sandbox’s gaming world.

Women will be provided with more opportunities in the crypto industry

This collaboration aims to offer women more opportunities for business development. This new partnership will also seek to offer support in helping NFT creators learn about web3, metaverse, NFT creation and auctions.

The aforementioned $25 million grant will be used to educate women about crypto through the WoW Foundation. This training will be realized through training courses and conscious entrepreneurship and all these modules will be hosted in Sandbox. Sandbox’s gain from this cooperation will be the participation of more women on the platform.

The Foundation will also build a WoW Museum in the online world of The Sandbox and a WoW University that will provide in-game students with educational Web3 courses and NFT diplomas. It will also create a WoW Academy incubation center for artists and projects, with potential funding, mentoring and networking for selected participants.

Speaking to Decrypt, a World of Women representative made the following comments about the partnership:

“[Sandbox] When this initiative, which is very close to our own values and morals, reached us, we immediately jumped on the opportunity. We are honored and excited to work with such a wonderful team that shares our strong beliefs about why it is so important for women to speak up and invest.”

Although the platform initially focused heavily on The Sandbox, the WoW Foundation will also work in “different sub-sectors in the blockchain world,” according to a press release. But whatever the funds; It will be used in initiatives that “have the same goal of investing more in women in space and creating long-term and equitable growth opportunities in the industry”.

Sandbox, World of Women and metaverse

World of Women is the most successful woman-centered NFT project to date, with approximately $157 million in secondary trading volume to date. It has attracted notable names including actors like Reese Witherspoon and Eva Longoria. In fact, Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine production studio recently announced plans to take the project to Hollywood through TV shows and film projects.

In addition, Sandbox has been one of the projects that has gained wide popularity in recent months, as metaverse hype in space has increased, largely as a result of Facebook’s prominent moves.

Sandbox allows players to purchase and customize in-game virtual lands, creating interactive environments and gaming experiences that can be shared or even monetized. In addition, the metaverse platform has massive partnerships with more than 200 brands and celebrities to date, including Snoop Dogg, Adidas, The Walking Dead and Atari.

Metaverse is a more immersive version of the future of the internet where users use 3D avatars to work, play and socialize. Sandbox, which could be fully released this year after a series of additional periods of alpha testing, is one of the first notable examples of how a metaverse space should look and feel.

In January, The Sandbox spent 200 ETH, worth over $707,000 at the time, to purchase World of Women NFT #6025 from social media influencer Logan Paul. Although one of the World of Women NFTs sold for around $754,000 at a Christie’s auction last week, it was a record sale for the collectible at the time.
