Frankfurt As the saying goes, friendship ends with money. But what about love? The question of who will bear which costs arises from the first meal together or the first visit to the cinema.

If the dates lead to a stable relationship and the couple moves in together, the next step is: who pays the rent, who fills the fridge? How are joint vacations financed?

It becomes more complicated when the couple has children and one partner reduces his or her working hours: How is the so-called care work, i.e. taking care of children or relatives in need of care, taken into account? How do you find a fair solution for old-age provision?
