This Altcoin Network Has Backlog of Transactions: Critical Protocol Has Stopped Working!

Polygon altcoin Gas limits on the blockchain network and a backlog on a third-party relay have led to a transaction mining issue in Lens Protocol.

Cryptocurrency and Altcoin Users Cannot Access Their Accounts on Lens Protocol

While the issue persists, users on the service’s Discord channel have reported that they are unable to access their social media accounts from the protocol.

Protocol announced on Twitter that an update will be made from Lens once the mining issues are resolved. Exactly how long it will take to resolve the issue remains unclear.

More than 50 different applications are reportedly using the Lens Protocol since its launch in February 2022.

Lens Protocol is a Web3 social graph running on the Polygon Proof-of-Stake Blockchain. It is designed to enable creators to have the connections between themselves and their communities and creates a fully composable, user-owned social graph.

The protocol was designed from the ground up with modularity in mind, allowing new features and fixes to be added while providing immutable user content and social relationships.

This is accomplished by allowing users to create profiles and interact with each other through these profiles. “Profile” specifically refers to Lens profiles; “user” is standard cryptocurrency refers to their wallets.

Despite the apparent advantages of Lens Protocol, several disadvantages should not be overlooked. Blockchains are often limited in on-chain storage capacity, and as a result not all content and NFTs are stored at this level and require another storage solution. The storage issue is deeply linked to security issues. If the original files are not saved on a blockchain, they can be lost or damaged.
