This Altcoin Is The New Favorite Of Mega Whales: The Most Traded Token!

New data from a whale watching platform shows that the world’s largest Ethereum (ETH) whales are stockpiling an altcoin that powers a data feed service used for the decentralized financial industry.

Blockchain-transaction tracker WhaleStats, the Oracle network, in a tweet they shared yesterday Chainlink (LINK) announced that it is gaining popularity among crypto whales. WhaleStats also shared that, according to analytics data, LINK is the most traded token and is among the top ten cryptocurrencies most frequently purchased by the top 1000 ETH wallet holders:

β€œLINK is very hot with many big transactions happening today. Looking at our metrics, LINK is among the top 1000 ETH wallets;

– most traded token,
– one of the 10 most purchased tokens,
– among the most used smart contracts [bulunuyor].

According to the latest WhaleStats data, LINK has an investment of over $261.4 million among the 1,000 richest over-the-counter Ethereum addresses, and currently whales account for 2.21 percent of all assets.

Recently, LINK has taken its place in the bags of many whales. For example, the 100th largest ETH whale went on a shopping spree on Chainlink and bought over $15 million in tokens in a 24-hour period. The wallet currently has over 1.7 million LINKs valued at over $46 million.

WhaleStats has shared data on several more major transactions made by Ethereum whales who bought LINK.

The two big whales, ranked 111th and 116th on the top 1000 ETH whale list on the crypto tracking platform, purchased a total of 479,701 Chainlinks yesterday. This transaction equated to $12,874,489 at the time of writing.

According to WhaleStats, ETH whales ranked 2nd, 99th and 35th also made eight major transfers, purchasing 838,229 million LINK tokens, worth $21,718,997 at the time of writing.

Six transfers were made by the whale, which is ranked 35th on WhaleStats’ list of 1000 largest ETH whales. Currently, this whale holds a total of $46,096,096 LINK in USD, which is 11.47 percent of the total ERC-20 assets at the address.

The second largest Ethereum whale made today’s biggest purchase 15 hours ago, adding 199,999 LINK (worth $4,693,999) to its bag.

The second-ranked whale prefers FTT as its largest token by USD value, and this altcoin accounts for 42.33% of the wallet. Besides, the whale’s wallet has only $52,870,300 worth of LINK in USD, which is 1.33% of crypto treasures.

Chainlink rose nearly 10 percent on the day to $25.92, according to data from CoinGecko at the time of writing, the highest price since LINK fell from its bearish peak of over $38 in early November.

ETH Whales Head to LINK!

The 111th-ranked Ethereum whale traded 409,001 LINK tokens, worth $10,601,305 at the time of writing, in seven transactions. The largest purchase among these transactions amounted to 70,007 LINK, while other transactions ranged from 52,000 to 59,000 coins.
