“Overall, less than five percent of employees in Germany receive salaries over 100,000 euros,” says Jan Rudnicki from the Internet portal Salary.de. So if you want to join the elite group of top earners, you should set the course early – and choose the right job.

Those who study medicine have a good chance of earning a six-figure salary in the course of their career. Around 40 percent of all doctors have more than 100,000 euros on their pay slip a year. Senior physicians even earn an average of 114,589 euros.
