Dusseldorf Top marks at Dow Jones and S&P: The stock markets are rushing from record to record these days. Many securities have risen sharply – and the ratings of the stock market barometers have in some cases jumped to lofty heights. All the more investors are asking themselves which markets are still comparatively attractive?
The Handelsblatt has therefore compared the world-famous stock market indices. Specifically, it was about the question: How much do the units cost in the respective stock exchange indices in relation to the expected net profit – and where are they in the long-term 20-year average? This makes it possible to determine valuation premiums and discounts.
The result shows that the development was not the same everywhere. In four countries, the stock market barometers are even below the 20-year average. An overview of where the markets are comparatively expensive – and where it is cheaper.
