In the last week, we have become accustomed to seeing the green lights in the cryptocurrency world. The steady rise in Bitcoin, the leading coin of the crypto money world, also positively affected the altcoin markets. With the market as such, these four altcoins have earned an average of 101% or even more in one week.
Two altcoins that delight their investors recently are Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB), known as meme coin (joke coin), as many crypto world followers know. DOGE and SHIB averaged over 100% in a week (over 100% wins are calculated as the combined average of DOGE and SHIB, so the average earning of joke coins was over 100%).
Another top-performing member of the altcoin world was the Spell Token (SPELL), the asset of the decentralized finance protocol Abracadabra Money. According to CoinGecko, SPELL rose from a seven-day low of $0.0032 at the time of writing to an all-time high of $0.0089. The move represents over 178% gains in just one week.
The next altcoin is Secret (SCRT), the asset of the privacy-focused smart contract platform Secret Network. CoinGecko shows that SCRT rallied over 125% from a seven-day low of $1.81 to $4.11.
SCRT has lost its current rally at the time of this writing and is on a decline. According to CoinGecko data, SCRT is currently trading at $3.12.
The fourth altcoin is OMG Network (OMG), a layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum (ETH). The emerging altcoin gained 101% in just one week, rising from $8.95 to $17.88.
While OMG has more than doubled its value in one week, it’s still a long way off from its all-time high of $25.62 in January 2018. According to CoinGecko, OMG is currently trading at $14.37.
