Berlin The FDP received hardly any large donations in the past year. The party, which is considered to be close to business, was only able to register a single larger donation of around 50,000 euros. Overall, the parties represented in the Bundestag received more than 1.36 million euros from large donations last year. This emerges from the information published by the Bundestag from the parties, which the Tagesspiegel evaluated.

Of the parties represented in the Bundestag, the CDU received by far the most large donations last year: it received more than 570,000 euros. Her sister party CSU was given 350,000 euros, which, however, came from a single donation. The Greens made major donations totaling more than 340,000 euros.
