Dusseldorf The German job market is booming. The offer on the online job exchange Indeed alone has increased by 45 percent since the beginning of the corona pandemic. Around 890,000 jobs are added every month. A total of seven occupational areas show an above-average increase in jobs:
- human Resource (89 percent more jobs than before Corona)
- engineering (+87 percent)
- pharmacy (+76 percent)
- warehousing (+68 percent)
- data experts (+ 60 percent)
- driving services (+ 55 percent)
- software (+50 percent)
What is striking about the list is that highly qualified people are also in demand, but not only. “The demand for personnel is currently huge in all areas and for all skill levels,” summarizes Annina Hering, labor market expert at Indeed Hiring Lab.
Job seekers could therefore determine the conditions much more than in the past. This also applies to payment. The rule of thumb is: The more demand there is for a job, the greater the deviation from the average salary.
