A first for a number of entrepreneurs who continue the NFT craze in New York. Crypto Barista came up with a different project after they opened their first cafe: the world’s first NFT supported cafe! NFTs with 60 caffeine-loving characters will be breaking new ground with this project.
Created by renowned illustrator Tony Bui, each hand-drawn NFT will feature 1 of 60 characters making coffee. The first launch will be held with “Season 1”. NFTs, which will have 60 characters in the first place, will have features where each character will have different rarity levels.

The owners of Crypto Barista, who brought a change in crowdfunding to help support their first cafe with this project, also control “Barista Bank”, a 15% fund they set aside for the project’s revenue to be used again in the coffee business.
The entrepreneurial team with the project also states that Barista Bank can support charities in the field of coffee and carry the project to higher platforms. Café owner Dan Hunnewell describes their respective projects in these words:
Crypto Barista’s goal is to create a community of like-minded individuals who appreciate art, caffeine, entrepreneurship and innovation. The aim of the project is to open a physical space in NYC where art and innovation are at the forefront. Beyond that, the future of Crypto Baristas will depend on the owners and followers of our campaign.
