The World Famous Magazine Will Keep This Altcoin Project On Its Balance Sheet!

According to a recent press release, TIME magazine plans to keep an altcoin project on its balance sheet for the first time as part of its deal with crypto investment firm Galaxy Digital to educate readers about the metaverse.

Here is TIME magazine’s altcoin selection

As part of the partnership, the magazine reports that it will launch a TIME 100 Companies list for the metaverse and publish a weekly newsletter called Into the Metaverse. According to company representatives, the deal will be fully funded through Ethereum (ETH), which will be held on the TIME balance sheet. TIME has been holding Bitcoin since April after receiving payment in crypto for a deal with Grayscale. TIME and Galaxy Digital Communications officials declined to comment on the size of the deal, but it will reportedly take about six months.

The magazine will also host educational resources in a metadatabase on a new webpage called TIME for Learning, which will launch in December as part of the deal, according to the press release. The list will “highlight the companies that have had the most impact in the industry,” some of which may be Blockchain companies, while others will be “experienced businesses in the metadatabase” that can offer solutions. Finally, applications for the list will be open from Thursday to December 31, according to the press release.
