But now the government of President Joe Biden suspects that without Musk, the United States might have one less problem.
Because Musk’s fortune, his global relationships and his company are growing rapidly – most recently through the takeover of the world’s most successful short message service Twitter at the end of last week. And the more the reach and influence of the richest man in the world increase, the more worried Washington is about the serial entrepreneur’s possible superiority.
