The Stock Market, Starting the Day Horizontally, Checks the Positive Side

In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST-100 index opened at 5,257.05 points with a partial decrease of 0.23 percent. The index started with a negative outlook and fell as low as 5,220 with seller-weighted trades. However, there was a slight recovery afterwards and the index rose above 5,250 points in the first half hour. The index saw the highest level of the day as 5.294.

As of 11:05, the BIST-30 index reached 5,875 points with an increase of 0.03 percent and switched to the positive side. BIST-100 index, on the other hand, is at 5.267 with a decrease of 0.07 percent. The index, which fell sharply the previous day, closed at 5,269 points with a loss of 3.77 percent.

Retail, insurance and simple metals sectors were among the ones that declined the most at the opening. Banks, printing, sports and information technologies were the sectors that started the day on a positive note.

When analyzed on a stock basis, KCAER, FENER, TMSN and MAVI shares in the BIST-100 index were among the leading starters of the day. ALFAS, BRYAT, BIMAS, ZOREN and ODAS opened with more than 1 percent depreciation in the BIST-100 index.

In Borsa Istanbul, FORTE, BURCE, AVHOL and BURVA shares became the shares that rose the most, starting from the ceiling price.
