Bloomberg revealed that Changpeng Zhao, CEO of the world’s leading crypto exchange Binance, is the richest person in the crypto market.
Bloomberg said that CZ’s net worth is estimated at $96 billion according to the Billionaire Index, making CZ the eleventh richest person.
While CZ’s wealth made him the richest person in crypto, he also approached giants such as Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Berkshire Hathway CEO Warren Buffett and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, one of the richest people in the world.
The Bloomberg report stated that CZ’s wealth may actually be even higher, as they do not know much about CZ’s crypto portfolio.
“CZ’s wealth could be significantly larger as Zhao’s wealth does not take into account personal crypto assets that include Bitcoin and Binance’s token (BNB) when calculating.”
Binance also questioned the accuracy of Bloomberg’s calculations, saying that it is difficult to make any concrete predictions due to the volatility of the crypto market.
In the face of news about his wealth, CZ declined to comment on the size of his wealth.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who continues to be the richest person in the world, has an estimated net worth of $ 263 billion, while Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is in second place with a fortune of $ 188 billion.
