With the new regulation, the requirement to bring a telephone from abroad has been changed, effective as of November 1, 2022. Citizens who go abroad will now be able to bring a phone with them every 3 years.

If it is desired to bring a second device within this period, it will not be exempt from customs tax. In other words, in addition to the IMEI registration fee, you will have to pay a tax. Of course, this is not the only limitation. There is also a restriction on the usage side.

According to the second rule, the phone brought from abroad can only be used with the line and SIM card of the person whose passport is registered.
