Professor at the head of the project, Dr. Aykut Yıldız stated that the mathematical analysis they will use is a unique approach. In the project named “Automatic Detection of Trolls in Social Networks”, a detection method was developed based on the changes in the opinion curves of trolls in social media. In this way, information pollution will be prevented by purifying social networks from trolls.
Stating that the project will bring solutions against social media trolls day by day, Yıldız emphasized that they will make mathematical analysis by projecting the shared ideas to numbers.
