Lech Anyone who has ever been there knows that Lech am Arlberg impresses with its special location and breathtaking landscape. As a dignified, country-typical place, Lech is particularly suitable for those who long for the “authentic Austria” – away from the celebrity hotspots such as Ischgl or Kitzbühel.

With its direct location on the slope of the Arlberg, “the cradle of skiing”, the Hotel Post Lech in the style of a traditional farmhouse attracts skiers in particular in the winter season. With over 350 kilometers of marked hiking trails and routes, the area can also be explored in summer, on foot or by mountain bike.

I, too, admittedly a very untalented skier, arrive in Lech am Arlberg in the winter season. With the snow-covered mountain peaks behind me, I return to the “Post” and am given a friendly welcome by the Moosbrugger family and their team.
