Next generation fiber technology providing higher speed and capacity 25G PONwas tested by Türk Telekom for the first time in Turkey.
25G PON technology enables data download and upload at high speeds from a single fiber hair. In the test carried out with Nokia, data transfer speeds of 20 Gbps in one-way and 29.1 Gbps in duplex were achieved. Thus, speeds of about 10 times the current GPON technology have been achieved.
10 times faster speed achieved with 25G PON

These speeds we have achieved will enable many applications such as smart city, smart office, health, entertainment, security, smart home concept to be used more efficiently.”
